Hello.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A.
I haven't set it up yet.
1. Should an antivirus come along with it as it does on PCs?
Which antivirus would be best to use on it(doesn't matter if I need to pay for it, if paying for one is indeed better than the free ones)??
A couple of people told me that androids are quite vulnerable to malware/spyware and that an antivirus on them would not really do much. Is this accurate?
2. How would I go on about setting a VPN for the tablet? I assume it is an android.
Which VPN is best for android?
If a VPN can cover both windows PC and android and under the same price, can I do this?
The tablet is the focus here, so whatever is best tailored for it VPN wise.
(TrustZone?)
My modem could be compromised, but I have to connect to wifi so I hope there is some antivirus that comes preinstalled on the tablet and then I'd get a better one and a VPN.
I guess there is nothing else I can do but hope my device is clear and hope the modem will not infect it.
I would like to thank the people on this forum for being amazing.
Thanks in advance
